Tina initially trained in Reflexology in 1991 at the South Wales School of Natural Therapies. From that time on her whole motivation in life came from the belief that complementary therapies can help people to start having more of an awareness of themselves and therefore the possibility of their own self- healing, through whichever therapy suited them. Continuing her studies in Complementary Therapy training, Tina qualified in Aromatherapy, Massage, Health Kinesiology, plus Crystal Healing and a number of other Continuing Professional Development courses.
In 1994 Tina started teaching therapies in both Norton Radstock College and the City of Bristol College, working in this environment for over 13 years. Tina was also an assessor during the late 1990s for a small private, therapy-training centre in South Wales.
In early 2002 Tina started working with a group of therapists in the Midsomer Norton area and eventually her dream of a professional base for them to work in, gave birth to the Positive Living Centre, which opened in November 2002. The Positive Living Centre also provided space for workshops and courses and in 2010 became a fully- fledged VTCT, recognised training school. This gave the opportunity to train in a positive and professional environment with small groups and fantastic support from professional practitioners.
Now semi retired; Tina really enjoys seeing students’ enlightenment, then subsequent passion for Complementary Therapies, when she visits us as Internal Quality Assurance for our VTCT courses.
